TRINE EMILIA KVALE LARSEN

CHILDHOOD OF TRINE EMILIA KVALE LARSEN
Born in Binh Thuan, a central province of Vietnam – a land full of sunshine and wind, with friendly, gentle, hard-working people. Her childhood memories of Binh Thuan are of melting heat like a dry, vast desert; violent storms, floods and devastation; people hunched over to work hard but always optimistic about a better future. These things were imprinted in her mind, so when she had the opportunity to settle down in Norway – which was once ranked the happiest country in the world in 2017, she still felt she had unfinished business in her homeland.
WHY VIETNAM?

Trine had the opportunity to work with Mr. Rino Solberg from BETTER GLOBE Group. She gained 5 years of experience and a deep understanding of his very humane project “Business for the community”. Rino Solberg’s business project for the community has contributed to reduce poverty for millions of people, especially children in parts of Africa, and greened many areas of the planet, improving the living environment. A clean green environment for the whole world in which both Trine and her children live.

Having witnessed with her own eyes the impacts of climate change on her homeland Vietnam and many other parts of the world, she is always concerned about finding a sustainable solution to contribute to the fight against climate change. She thinks about Vietnam, her homeland. She wondered “why not Vietnam?” She realized that this is a good way to spend the second half of her life and an opportunity to fulfill her dream. And that’s how Bamboo Agro Forestry was born, as a source of inspiration, strong hope and belief in contributing to the community.

JOURNEY OF TURNING DREAMS INTO REALITY
She knows this is a long, arduous journey, and she must be the first to do it. With enthusiasm, she is able to connect with people with the same vision, trusted associates and supportive friends who encourage her to continue on her journey, realizing her dream, realizing the project of creating a bamboo forest in the land where she was born.

After a period with lots of research the Bamboo Agro Forestry project gradually took shape. The main activity of the bamboo forestry project is operated by a business model for the community combined with the socialization model of bamboo growing. With this model, people from all over the world are able to participate in the tree planting project. Plant bamboo and receive a fixed return on your investment starting from the first bamboo harvest and onwards for the next 11 years.

By participating in tree planting, you not only reap the benefits for yourself, but also make a significant contribution to our community and the planet.

The added values and impacts of the Bamboo Agro Forestry project:

  • Regenerating the environment and fighting climate change
  • Changing agro-forestry economy, creating jobs for local people
  • Sustainable agriculture training
  • Funding for children’s education
Bamboo Agro Forestry also face big challenges such as how to spread the project’s humane message to more people, how to convince customers to participate in the project and buy trees, there are several benefits for the communities, yet we must convince people to take good care of bamboo trees to achieve desired results and committed buyers, how can we convince the local people to cooperate in the cultivation and share the revenue? …
What are all these difficulties? When people follow orders from the heart and put their hearts into improving the environment, the difficulties and challenges in the project and business of planting trees for the community will become small. Love and passion for the environment will inspire and motivate people to take part and overcome all obstacles, ensuring the success of the project and making an important contribution to climate change improvement.

Everyone has a dream, as long as you have enough passion, that dream will come true!
