Planting Bamboo with Bamboo Agro Forestry

Bamboo4Saving is a social bamboo planting program of Bamboo Agro Forestry (BAF), creating opportunities for everyone to join our green mission - contribute to fight climate change, contribute to society whilst receiving a revenue share from bamboo cultivation.

We believe that together we can accomplish our mission at a much faster rate and go even further to achieve higher goals.
Many individuals and organizations have been interested in the Bamboo Agro Forestry project. This is a sustainable form of investment through BAF’s unique bamboo planting project.

Bamboo Agro Forestry will plant bamboo from seed and nurture it for 1 year. You will then be able to purchase a bamboo planting package, where you purchase one of the 1-year-old bamboo trees, BAF will then continue to tend to your bamboo until it us ready to be harvested in the 5th growing year. Each buyer purchases their very own tree. From years 5 to 15, trees can be harvested from each bamboo clump without replanting, and you receive a fixed annual revenue share on your investment, for 11 consecutive years.

After the tree has had a stable growth during its first year, you will be able to purchase it for 24 Euro/tree (clump).
Bamboo growing (5 years)
Bamboo Agro Forestry will be in charge of will be in charge of tending to, and ensuring the growth of the bamboo, as well as the quality of harvested timber.
Receive return on investment
Bamboo Agro Forestry will selectively harvest bamboo timber each year (without replanting), you will receive a return on your investment continuously for 11 years with a fixed revenue share: 8 Euro/clump/year x 11 years = 88 Euro, in which
  • You receive: 7.6 Euro/clump/year x 11 years = 83.6 Euro
  • You commit to donate: 0.4 Euro/clump/year x 11 years = 4.4 Euro to the Bamboo Agro Forestry’s Children’s Education and Poverty Reduction Fund and community contributions program

Transparency is one of the sustainable principles Bamboo Agro Forestry has committed to. Each person participating in the project will be able to track the bamboo trees they have purchased through the MyBamboo app (Web, Mobile App), where each customer is issued individual profile, where you can

  • Manage all your bamboo planting packages
  • Monitor growth process, see images and videos from the bamboo plantation
  • See the location of the plantation where your bamboo is being grown
